I can't believe I forgot to put this up here. This is a self-made RPing character quiz of sorts, in the style of a really awesome and random tournament. Obviously the 32-character standard is a little steep for some RPers, so don't worry about using canon characters (Cloud, Vegeta, etc) to fill in the spaces. I'll post the outline of the tournament, followed by an example I filled out.






32-CHARACTER GRAND TOURNAMENT




SETUP: List 32 of your original characters, numbered accordingly. They will then be randomly paired and face off with one another in contests of skill, strength, or whatever else I decide will be amusing. To begin with:

The winner of each match will move on to battle the winner adjacent to it. 1 vs. 2, etc.
Sub-rules:
-Unnecessary death and destruction is considered cheating and will result in disqualification.
-Not wanting to do it because the character thinks it's 'beneath' them is considered forfeiting (in other words, have a very nice prize at the end of all of this.)
-Mind controlling an opponent into forfeiting is considered cheating.
-Seductive behaviour is frowned upon in most of the competition categories.
-Threats and bribery are perfectly allowed.
-Sexual contact, consensual or not, is not allowed during competition.
-Godly-level characters (or any others capable of large-scale destruction) are prohibited from nuking the general vicinity and taking the prize, by penalty of a permanent clown nose.
-Bards are cooler than Assassins for the duration of the tournament.

Finally, we have our competition board. The characters involved will compete in the specified manner, with the winner advancing to the next round. The winners will from then on be numbered by their place on the board; ie. the winner of the first match will be labelled 1, the second match 2, and so on.

1: Miro vs. Damien, swimming… Dae lived in a desert and has rarely needed to swim. Miro has been pushed into many rivers. I'm giving it to him. Miro.

2: Kai vs. Misuke, snowball fight… Neither have had much experience with snow, but Kai has crazy blind-sense and years, so I give it to him. Kai.

3: Sanako vs. Kohaji in a battle to the death… Epic, but Sanako's Fallen power tips him over the edge and Kohaji isn't allowed to bring his ship. Sanako.

4: Kate vs. Random, pie eating contest. I doubt Assassin rookies get much pie in their eating regimen. Kate.

5: Hugh vs. Rien with ferocious animals… Rien's more likely to kill it, and probably doesn't have the gentle hand for grooming. Hugh has had to construct and ally himself with a ferocious, demonically-possessed teddy bear. Hugh.

6: Matthew vs. William, largest trail of destruction. Matthew's not quite smart enough to build an atomic weapon, and his Nazgul can only do so much. Whitey-William.

7: Maye vs. Heji, tennis. Tough one… Neither really play tennis, so the game would be a little pathetic. Heji has a couple advantages, but they're not much use if he can't convert them into tennis skill. Flipping a coin, Maye.

8: Nameless vs. Satira's brother, drinking contest… Tina can't hold her liquor, Heji's nothing special, so their little shota son is probably no match for the grizzled old man. Nameless.

9: Makan vs. Mia, public speaking. Despite Makan being a leader, Mia wins out of sheer self-confidence. Mia.

10: Roe vs. Crimson, petting the Chimera. Crimson has the speed to avoid being bitten. Roe is a bit too curious to have an advantage in reaction time. Crimson.

11: Guildmaster vs. Tenji, standing completely still. Tenji is average for this. Guildmaster is the MASTER OF THE GODDAMN ASSASSIN'S GUILD. He obviously knows quite a lot about standing still. Guildmaster.

12: Nami vs. Reiyez, pillow fight… Reiyez is a good swordsman, but Miro's mother is not someone to be trifled with when it comes to blunt weapons. Nami.

13: Satira vs. Jack, Dodgeball. Satira has grit, and probably aim, so the farmer loses out on this one. Satira.

14: Doorman vs. Sinful, table manners. Modaron is such a nice guy, he wins out in formality. Doorman.

15: Tia vs. Sain, staring contest. Being dead (or undead), Tia probably wouldn't have to blink very much. Tia.

16: Noble fella vs. Tina, math test. Sorry man, it's closer than it could've been, but Tina's got formal education AND a genius mind on her side. Tina.


Round 2

1: Miro vs. Kai, taunt-off. Miro's damn good at taunting… Kai's a cranky old retired instructor though. If Miro made fun of his blindness, I think that inner rage could convert quickly into a slew of 'you kids these days' that'd blow Miro out of the water. Kai.

2: Sanako vs. Kate, backstory contest. Kate's only a partial OC, and definitely hasn't lived the adventurous and tragic life of Sanako. Sanako.

3: Hugh vs. William, boxing. William can definitely take a punch in his Whitey mode, but Hugh alone can take excessive beatings, and even more so as Hughchan. In a  boxing ring, he'd dominate. Hugh.

4: Maye vs. Nameless, tobogganing. I'm pretty sure Nameless would drop out by this point, rather than go on a toboggan race with Maye. After all, he's from the desert too. Maye.

5: Mia vs. Crimson, shuffleboard. Mia's far too spry to be any good at this game, despite being probably older than Crimson is. Crimson has old man experience to help him on this one. Crimson.

6: Guildmaster vs. Nami, tickle fight. Um… neither strike me as ticklish, but Nami'll never let someone else get the upper hand without permission when it comes to grappling, Guildmaster or husband. Nami.

7: Satira vs. Doorman, gigantic monster slaying… Doorman has more experience with fighting. Satira isn't yet at her full potential, though I'm sure she'll try her darnedest. But, Doorman.

8: Tia vs. Tina, 200 meter sprint. Ooh, if flying were allowed, Tina might've had this, but it's a sprint. This one goes to the Assassin Cross. Tia.


Round 3

1: Kai vs. Sanako, jousting. Um… Kai is blind, and probably hasn't ridden a Peco in his life. Sanako did so once for fun. I'm putting Kai at a close second. Sanako.

2: Hugh vs. Maye, swimsuit modelling. Oh man. o_o After much deliberation from the judges, they've decided that hips indeed do not lie. Maye.

3: Crimson vs. Nami, taking care of children. XDD Um… They're both parents, and can be violent. One raised their child to be a successful farmer, the other raised their child to be Damien. …Crimson wins just because he has to put up with more crap. Crimson.

4: Doorman vs. Tia, milking contest. Not exactly their field… but for some reason I think Tia would win out on this one. Tia.


Semifinals

1: Sanako vs. Maye, nosebleed-inducing. Maye, I'm afraid. XD She's actually succeeded in this with Sanako and Heji.

2: Crimson vs. Tia, western shootout. Damn… I think Crimson would down a DP bottle to increase his reflexes, so he'd probably win.


Finals

Maye vs. Crimson, body switch/quest. If Maye and Crimson switched bodies, it would be largely to Maye's advantage. All of that baby weight will take Crimson a long time to get used to, while Maye has a slightly older but more muscular body to handle. As they both probably have equal information-gathering skills, the initial advantage would bring forth the victory.
